Introduction
The UDI (Unit Drill Instructor) course takes place on 2-4 June (at least, for this year, 2025). It teaches cadets who have attained >80% in their Footdrill Gold assessment the more advanced part of drills, with things like WMG (Water Mist Gun) drills, flag drills, about the CAF (Compressed Air Foam) gun, as well as pace stick drills.
Well, what about it?
Well, I would like to happily announce that I am going for this once-in-a-lifetime experience! Somehow, I managed to get >80% (even with my mistake, so my Teacher Officer informed me that I am eligible for this!
I would like to thank all my friends, TOs, unit-mates, my family, and everyone else who have supported me throughout my NCDCC journey.
I would also like to thank you, dear reader, for supporting me by reading the posts here on my site. It really means a lot.
I would even like to mention 2 of my NCDCC juniors who are quite funny and very energetic: they are quite eager to learn about NCDCC sometimes too!
My hopes
Obviously, to pass, but another hope I have is that it won’t be too rigorous, and, that I won’t… mess up. I guess I have to really focus and concentrate for those 3 days.
Conclusion
I really just want to thank everyone who has supported me so far, and become a Unit Drill Instructor. It’s been one of my NCDCC goals/ambitions.
Of course, I will definitely write a post sharing my experience once I complete the course.
I really look forward to it!
