Introduction

The Water Parade is a practice usually held before parade practice, trainings, or courses. As you can probably guess, it invloves drinking water. Usually, a lot of water, since you won’t drink again unitl after quite some time.

How do I do it?

It’s fairly important to learn how to perform this, as you are usually expected to know how to do this. There are 5 steps to doing the Water Parade: bottles up, caps off, and drink up, caps on and bottles down.

bottles up

Pretty self-explanitory, you just lift your bottle up to your chin level. Hold your bottle up with your elbow parallel to the ground and up to 90°.

caps off

Now, with your other (left) arm, you open/unlock/unscrew the cap of your bottle. If the cap is detatchable, hold it in that (left) hand.

drink up

Drink your water. Keep drinking until your bottle is empty or you’re too bloated to go on. Of course, don’t force yourself and start choking or vomiting, but drink enough water to keep yourself hydrated for the next few hours. After you’ve finished drinking, still hold your bottle up and don’t put it down.

caps on

Well, you just put on your caps back on! Don’t put your bottle down yet!

bottles down

Put your bottle back down. Really, nothing else.

Conclusion

There. Wasn’t so difficult was it? Hope you didn’t burst. Good luck for the next few hours!
